Beaverton Civic Theatre provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for students to explore, train, and create through Sunday workshops in drama, dance, and voice, as well as rehearsals on Monday and Wednesday evenings. A full week of dress and technical rehearsals lead to opening night of Seussical Jr.! The Fall program runs Sept 15 - Dec 14 at The Playhouse, located inside Cedar Hills Crossing near Powell's Books. $200 includes all materials and a personal make-up kit
Meet The Instructor
Sandy Libonati Classes: Musical Jam, Fundamentals of Acting, Acting 1, Troupe BCT Sandy has been a singer and actress for over thirty years, and a musical theatre director and teaching artist for the past thirteen years.Sandy’s passion for helping students and adults discover their artistic voice brings inspiration to every class she teaches and every show she directs. Sandy believes that providing a safe arena that fosters creativity, trust and joy is essential for inspiring artistic expression, personal growth and meaningful human connections. In addition to directing numerous musicals for local Middle Schools, High Schools and Community Theatre, she has also been a guest artist for the Young Musicians & Artists Summer Camp, and director and Teaching Artist at Buckman Arts School and Oregon Children’s Theatre.
