Music Together Resonate presents a Holiday Sing-a-long for the entire family! Create music with instruments you can find in your kitchen! Materials Needed: You'll need a few things from your kitchen - bowl and spoon, ice tray, wooden spoons, kitchen towel, etc. Anything can be an instrument!
4:30pm - 5:25pm WORKSHOP Finding and Creating Art with Nature: "Snow Art" - $5
This family-friendly workshop is recommended for all kids ages 5 and older. Learn how art is integrated into our communities and create your own designs - including a nature garden to share with your community! Girl Scouts can earn badges by participating! Daisies earn the Outdoor Art Maker Badge | Brownies earn the Outdoor Art Creator Badge | Juniors earn the Outdoor Art Explorer Badge. Badges not included and can be purchased from Girl Scouts. Join Sweet Lemonade Productions for a fun and interactive trivia game for all ages! How many can you guess correctly?
6:30pm - 7:35pm CRAFT Snow Creations with Snowflake Crafts & Trivia - FREE
Make 5 snowflake themed crafts with BCT! Supplies needed: several sheets of plain white paper, 2 or 3 different colors of blue, white, or silver tissue paper, 4-12 popsicle sticks that can be colored, pom poms (white, silver, or blue), decorations (things like glitter, foil, beads, and other shiny things), string or ribbon, pencil, scissors, glue, silver or blue glitter, dry pasta of a variety of shapes, white, blue, or silver paper (3", 3.5", or 4.25" squares)

11:00am - 11:55am GAME & PERFORMANCE The Mitten - FREE
Use everyday at-home items easy-to find-craft supplies to create costumes for The Mitten, a Ukrainian Folktale, featuring a grandmother, grandson and forest animals. Enjoy a production of The Mitten, a Ukrainian Folktale as a performer or audience member. Individuals and families are invited to perform using costumes created during the workshop.
12pm - 12:55pm WORKSHOP "Snow Snack" - $5
This family-friendly workshop is recommended for all kids ages 5 and older. Create winter-themed snacks and desserts including Pretzel Snowflakes, Winter Cracker Sandwiches, and a Wintry-Scene Salad Plate. Girl Scouts can earn badges by participating! Brownies earn the Snacks Badge, Juniors earn the Simple Meals Badge. Badges not included and can be purchased from Girl Scouts. Register to save your spot here.
1pm - 1:55pm STEAM CRAFT & PERFORMANCE Snow Myth How the Snowflake Found Its Purpose - FREE
Join Beaverton Civic Theatre as we combine art and science to learn about the science of snowflakes, build our own folded paper puppets, explore how sound effects are used in theatre, and build our own story about How the Snowflake Found Its Purpose! Supply List: 3 pieces of construction paper - 1 white, 1 blue, and 1 red, scissors, glue stick or scotch tape, crayons/markers/colored pencils (Optional: cotton balls or color pom poms)
2pm MATH STORY TIME with the Beaverton City Library - FREE
Beaverton City Library presents a Math story time featuring the books, songs and math activities that families can do at home! If you would like to download the handout, you can find it here. It is not necessary to print to enjoy the session.
3:00pm - 3:55pm WORKSHOP "Snow Adventure" - $5
This family-friendly workshop is recommended for all kids ages 5 and older. Learn how to plan your own outdoor adventure, tell your adventure story, and then get excited to go out and explore on your own! Girl Scouts can earn badges by participating! Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts attending will complete most requirements for the Snow Badge or Climbing Adventure Badge. Go on your outdoor adventure to complete the final badge requirement. Join Beaverton Civic Theatre as we combine art and science to learn about winter animals, create our own hand shadow puppets, explore how actors use their voices to create characters in theatre, and build our own story about How the Penguin Lost Its Tail! Supply List: 1 flashlight, a piece of plain white printer paper, tape or glue, a cereal box with a square/rectangle cut out of both sides
6:30pm - 7:35pm CRAFT Snow Creations with Snowman Crafts & Trivia - FREE
Make 5 snowflake themed crafts with BCT! Supplies needed: toilet paper tubes, markers/crayons/colored pencils, chenille, pipe cleaners, pom poms, glue, scissors, felt, bits of scrap fabric, or old socks that can be cut up, 3 paper plates, brown and orange construction paper, googly eyes, 3 buttons , hole punch, ribbon or string, white plastic spoon, black construction paper, markers that will draw on smooth plastic (black and orange), scraps of decorative ribbon, lollipops , light blue construction paper several sheets, mini marshmallows, little tiny bit of white paint (not necessary, but would be cool), googly eyes, 1.5 cups of shaving cream (The best kind is barbasol-off brands make the puffy paint not work well), .5 cup white glue, .25 cup flour, bowl, spatula, plastic bag or squeeze bottle, tiny black pom poms, decorative sequins, brown and orange construction paper

Join Beaverton Civic Theatre as we combine art and science to learn about how people use stars to find their way, create our own stick shadow puppets, explore how lighting is used in theatre, and build our own story about What Makes the North Star So Bright? Supply List: 1 flashlight (ideally a traditional one, not a phone), a piece of plain white printer paper, tape or glue, scissors, black construction paper or card stock, squares of colored tissue paper that can fit over the flashlight beam (red, blue, and yellow), rubber band, 4 sticks (such as wooden skewers, popsicle sticks, or pencils), a cereal box with a square/rectangle cut out of both sides
