Karen Moore as HENRIETTA LEAVITT Karen is thrilled to be part of Beaverton Civic Theatre for this amazing show. She has most recently appeared in Oregon Children's Theater production of Judy Moody. For the past 4 years, she has been proud to serve as an art and theatre teacher for adults with developmental disabilities at Portland Art and Learning Studios.
Nicole Rayner as MARGARET LEAVITT Originally from San Jose, California, Nicole's favorite past roles include Jo March in Little Women The Musical, Truly Scrumptious in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Rosa Budd in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. She is honored to join this talented group of actors on the BCT stage.
Les Ico as PETER SHAW Les didn’t get his bio in on time, so we asked others to talk about him. What follows is a compilation of their responses: “Nice guy” “Funny guy” “He’s the best. Around. Sara Beck as ANNIE CANNON Sara is thrilled to be joining this remarkable cast for her Oregon theatrical debut. Having relocated from California, she most recently played the roles of Glory, Rhonda, and The Waitress in a Glendale Theater production of Almost Maine. She is very pleased to return to the stage for a role that resonates deeply for her in a relevant and well-crafted work.
Lalanya Gunn as WILLIAMINA FLEMING Lalanya is thrilled to be joining Beaverton Civic in her first production. Hailing from Buffalo, NY she has a BFA in Theatre from Niagara University. She has been involved in theatre for 25 yrs having worked in Buffalo, Austin and Los Angeles. Local Theatres include Portland Center Stage, Broadway Rose, Bag & Baggage, Lakewood Theatre, Portland Actors Ensemble, Twilight Theatre, Torchsong Productions, HART, Theatre in the Grove, Mask & Mirror, and Readers Rep. As always love to Greg.
Patrick Nims - Director Patrick is a director, video designer, and stage manager. New to Oregon, Pat has directed over 50 productions in the SF Bay Area. Favorites include Company (2017 TBA Best Production), Drood, Peter & The Starcatcher, This Is Our Youth, Heathers (BWWORLD SF Best Director and Best Musical), Spring Awakening, In The Heights, Cyrano De Bergerac, Les Miserables, and Into The Woods (NYA Best Director). Pat thanks BCT for the opportunity to work with this great company and also thanks Marina for her love, patience and inspiration.
Erin Looney - Stage Manager This show caps off Erin's first year of working with BCT, after a long hiatus from theater. After a year of being on stage, in the booth, and fitting costumes, it's great to end on a play about women she studied while in college. When not working with the theater, Erin works on making her own costumes. She'd like to thank her wonderful partner for supporting her late nights and strange hours!
Stacie Looney - Stage Manager Stacie is an avid participant of BCT and enjoys volunteering both on and off stage. She has recently been seen in Annie, Curious George and the Golden Meatball and The Hundred Dresses. Her work backstage has been seen in The 39 Steps, School House Rock Live!, and Sleepy Hollow at BCT and in Oklahoma at Theatre in the Grove. In her spare time she can be found playing video games and making her own cosplays.
