Annika Sadowski as Wanda Petronski This is Annika’s first play. She has played many small roles in class plays but never in a big production. When she is not on stage, Annika can be found fishing and swimming on the Sandy River, spending time with her cousins and friends, traveling or exploring. She thanks to her dad has pursued her “career” in acting, and thanks to her grandad has found love in the arts and wonders of reading and the love and support of her amazing friends has been pushed to her best standard. Always be nice and sparkle!
Summer Schroeder as Peggy Thomas This is Summer’s first production here at Beaverton Civic Theatre. The last five years she was in productions at the Multnomah Arts Center. Her first ever production ever was the Chronicles of Narnia at Encore at age 7. She is a 13 year old 8th grader at Fowler Middle School. Aside from theatre, she active playing tennis and running cross country.
Isabella Villagomez as Madeline Reeves Isabella is absolutely thrilled to be working in her second production with Beaverton Civic Theatre! Her first role with BCT, which has become one of her favorites, was Becky in A Little Princess in 2015. Most recently, Isabella has been seen as Youngest Sister in Head.Hands.Feet and Stone Dead Girl in Orpheus and Eurydice at Shaking the Tree Theatre. Isabella wants to thank her marvelous parents and friends, the amazing cast, and Sarah for this delightful and sublimely creative experience!
Gracie Morinishi as Cecile Allen Gracie is exhilarated to be playing Cecile in her first BCT production! She is a 7th grader at ACMA, where she studies tap, jazz, ballet and pointe. She also takes Acro at Encore. You may have seen her as a Ballet Girl in the PIxie Dust production of Billy Elliot or in Lakewood's The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Gracie is a former competitive figure skater and also enjoys modeling, film acting, photography and engineering.
Nic Gantzer as Jack Beggles After appearing on the BCT stage previously in Annie and Sleepy Hollow, Nic is excited to be working with cast and crew in The Hundred Dresses! In the past he’s played Wolf in Hair and Jean in Rhinoceros. He is very happy to be again acting alongside his daughter. He would like to thank Adriana, Ainsley and Nolan.
Les Ico as Willie Bounce Les didn’t get his bio in on time, so we asked others to talk about him. What follows is a compilation of their responses: “Nice guy” “Funny guy” “He’s the best. Around. Nothing’s gonna ever keep him down.” “He was great in that one play, according to him” “Who dat?” “I don’t appreciate spam, please do not contact me again” “He owes me money” “His social media pages are hilarious. His witty and biting commentary leave me in stitches!”
Stacie Looney as Miss Mason Stacie is excited to return to the BCT stage! She was last seen in the ensemble in Annie and as the villainous chef Phinneas T Lightspeed in Curious George and the Golden Meatball. Behind the scenes she makes her own costumes as well as costuming other shows. Her work was seen in The 39 Steps and Oklahoma. She would like to thank the wonderful theater community in the area and the audiences who come to support their local theaters!
Hannah Greenlee as Shelly Reeves Hannah loves acting in community theater and is thrilled to be a part of her first Beaverton Civic Theatre production. Hannah was most recently seen on the stage as Henrietta in the New Century Players production of Persuasion and Sorel in Hay Fever at Magenta Theater. She also enjoys directing skits at her church. Although she is an actress by night, she spends her days as a baby whisperer at a preschool.
Ted Schroeder as Mr. Petronkski Ted is proud to be in his 3rd production with BCT. His last production here he portrayed Ichabod Crane in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Most recently he was in Nana's Naughty Knickers for HART Theater and in Anatomy of Gray for Mask & Mirror Theater. Ted is married to Jennifer and has two daughters Jasmine and Summer. This was a wish come true to do a production with one of his daughters.
Nikki LeGore as Jacob Petronski Nicki LeGore is a 7th grader at ACMA. She loves acting, and enjoys working with the Beaverton Civic Theatre. She has appeared in two seasons of The Portland Christmas Revels, acted and danced in Cami Curtis productions of Seussical the Musical and The Nut that Cracked, and taken musical theater classes and workshops and NWCT.
Charles (Chuck) Wilson as Mr. Svenson This is "Chuck's" 6th production with the Beaverton Civic Theatre. He has also been appearing on "Broadway" for the last 37 years at the Beaverton Sub Station in beautiful downtown Beaverton. Hello to Gina, Tori, Zoe and all the good people of Beaverton. Thanks to Melissa, Sarah, Annie and the entire cast and crew who make it possible for all of us to "play".
Kimberley Battad (Stage Manager) Kimberley is originally from San Jose, CA and has always had a passion for the theatre. She recently worked as assistant stage manager and marketing assistant for BCT's You Can't Take It With You and Annie. She has a BA in Theatre/Musical Theatre from Sweet Briar College. Some favorite theatre credits include Metamorphoses, The Frogs, and Fiddler on the Roof. She is also currently writing her first play! When not playing around in the theatre, Kimberley can probably be found with her nose in a book, baking goodies, or hanging out with her cat, Peach.
Alli Halley (Stage Manager) This is Alli’s second production with Beaverton Civic Theatre, having recently choreographed the musical Annie. Her love for theatre started in high school when she landed her first role as Gwendolyn in the Importance of Being Earnest. She continued her passion in college, choreographing Spring Awakening, performing in Ajax in Iraq and Assistant Stage Managing UMW. She absolutely loves the BCT family and is so thankful for the opportunity to be a part of another production!
Sarah Ominski (Director) Sarah has relished every moment directing this timely and relevant story. She also enjoys being on stage and was most recently seen "monkeying around" as Curious George and as DA Joyce Riley in Legally Blonde. Love to her family - Ed, Mom, Mama Bird & Pops, her three sons, daughters, and grandbabies! Thank you to Melissa, Annie, Jenny, Alli, Kimberley and the cast and crew for your kindness, leadership and friendship!
