Evan Wade as RICHARD HANNAY This is Evan’s first season on stage at BCT. Last year he appeared incognito in YCTIWY and Sleepy Hollow (set work and video promo). In Fresno, CA, he worked in many roles on many plays. He’s worked in the LA film industry as a lighting technician. He would like to thank his wife and family for all their love and support. He hopes you have a cracking good time at The 39 Steps!
Lesley Nadwodnik as ANNABELLE/PAMELA/MARGARET Lesley is thrilled to be playing a dream role in her second Oregon show, having played Walker Harris in Mask & Mirror’s production of Two Rooms last summer. Other credits involve plays and independent films in Michigan and Florida, including productions such as Little Women, See How They Run, Hamlet, Little Shop of Horrors, Dracula, Are You Being Served?, and more. Special thanks to her fellow cast and crew mates for their hard work!
Adam Williams as CLOWN #1 Adam is a newcomer to the Portland area. Most recently, he worked in video production at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. Adam writes and draws the online comic Wingmen, which subjects its readers to a Bad Pun Week every year. On stage, he has enjoyed appearing in a variety of musicals, from The Pirates of Penzance to Les Misérables.
Daniel Wagner as CLOWN #2 Daniel is an after-school drama teacher, puppeteer, voiceover artist, and writer. He has previously appeared in BCT's ‘Til Death Do Us Part and Finnegan's Farewell, and elsewhere as Richard III in Richard III, Benjamin in The Yellow Boat, Thénardier in Les Misérables, and Sidney Bruhl in Deathtrap. Daniel is thrilled to join this talented cast and crew, and would like to credit his friends, family, teachers and loved ones for their unwavering support and spirit.
Amy Millay - Director Amy honed her directing skills as a child, when she “directed” her siblings in acting out favorite stories. At BCT, she appeared as Chorus in Knuffle Bunnyand co-directed Elephant and Piggie’s We Are In a Play! She is thrilled to direct such a fantastic cast and thanks the cast, crew, production team, and Melissa for the opportunity. Much love to her husband Brad and her family for their undying support.
James Van Eaton - Stage Manager James is an actor, just not right at the moment. He last appeared at BCT as Lurch in the The Addam’s Family and as Phileas Fogg in Around the World in 80 Days. Currently he is doing his small part to bring the frantic, mysterious world of the The 39 Steps to life and loving every minute of it. He would like to thank the director, cast, and crew for allowing him to take part.
