10:30am - 10:55am - MUSIC Holiday Sing-a-long (Tambourines & Cup Tapping) with Music Together - FREE Music Together Beaverton presents a Holiday Sing-a-long for the entire family! Create music with tambourines created in the 10am craft workshop and bring a cup for cup rhythm tapping. Materials Needed: You'll need a tambourine (or anything that makes noise! A box of pasta, container of rice, keys, etc.) and one cup per person.
11am - BILINGUAL STORY TIME The Snowy Day/Un dia de Nievewith the Beaverton City Library - FREE Beaverton City Library presents a Bilingual Spanish/English Story time featuring The Snowy Day/Un dia de Nieve by Ezra Jack Keats. Learn how to make fake snow using hair conditioner and baking soda. Use small people and animal toys to create footsteps in the snow, just like in the book! | Materials needed / Materiales necesarios for Fake Snow / Nieve Falsa: ½ cup of hair conditioner / ½ taza de condicionador para el cabello, 3 cups of baking soda / 3 tazas de bicarbonate de sodio, 1 container / 1 envase, 1 mixing utensil / 1 utensilio para mezclar
