Cast & Crew of Curious George

Return to Show Page

Picture

Sarah Omniski as CURIOUS GEORGE
Sarah loves theater and Curious George is a dream role. She is so excited to explore a role that relies on expression and inspiring laughter and love. Some other roles she has enjoyed include a Crazy Lady, Morgana Crook-A  villainous laundress, Honey Raye Futrelle, and Mrs. Dailey. She sends love to her family .... Especially Ed, Mom, Mama Bird & Pops, her three boys, daughters and all her grandchildren. Thank you EVERY friend who supports theater!

Picture

Daniel Wagner as THE MAN IN THE YELLOW HAT

Daniel is an after-school drama teacher, puppeteer, voiceover artist, and writer. He has previously appeared in BCT's Till Death Do Us Part and Finnegan's Farewell, and elsewhere as Richard III in Richard III, Benjamin in The Yellow Boat, Thénardier in Les Misérables, and Sidney Bruhl in Deathtrap. Daniel is thrilled to join this talented cast and crew, and would like to credit his friends, family, teachers and loved ones for their unwavering support and spirit.

Picture

Natalie Vierra as NETTIE

Natalie is thrilled to be making her second appearance with Beaverton Civic Theatre after getting to play around in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow last fall. It has been her dream to be in a musical for years, and, well...here we are! In her spare time, you can find her singing in the car or dabbling in improv and tap. She’s excited to share the story of this curious, big-hearted monkey with you!

Picture

Stacey Howland as CHEF PISGHETTI

Fresh off Stacey's dynamic (according to her mom) return to the stage as Mrs. Greer in BCT's production of Annie, she is excited to be in another show! Stacey is a published author and the mom/stepmom to five great kids. She's currently co-writing a TV series with her childhood best friend about growing up in community theatre in the '80's in the midwest. It's like Stranger Things, but with show tunes!

Picture

Stacie Looney as PHINNEAS T. LIGHTSPEED

Stacie is thrilled to return to the Beaverton Civic Theatre stage. She was last seen in Annie and is excited to be playing the villain this time around. She is also glad to be able to join her sister on stage after a ten year hiatus and continuing her work with her previous cast mates from Annie! In her free time she makes costumes and clothes for fun. She is grateful to be part of such a wonderful theater community and can't wait for you to see the show!

Picture

Kjrstin Berg as ENSEMBLE
Kjrstin is a lifelong musical theater admirer who recently performed in her first ever role as Mrs. Pugh in Annie with BCT. By day she is a paralegal who enjoys photography, archery and jigsaw puzzles. Kjrstin is so excited to share the stage with the fantastic cast of Curious George!

Picture

Kate Donovan as ENSEMBLE

Kate is originally from Boston, MA, and moved to Portland about 7 years ago. She is super excited to be in her first BCT production. She has been a member of the West Side Singers since 2011. Some of her favorite roles include Adelaide in Guys & Dolls, Lady Windermere in Lady Windermere's Fan and Queen Marie in Exit the King. She also dabbled in stand-up comedy while living in Los Angeles. When she's not singing, she enjoys playing board games and learning to play the piano.

Picture

Erin Looney as ENSEMBLE
This is Erin’s first role with BCT and her first acting role since college. She was once active in her school’s theater program, but quit when she moved to Portland. It’s thanks to her older sister, Stacie, that she auditioned. She looks forward to being on stage with her sister for the first time in ten years.

Picture

Kylie Newland as ENSEMBLE

Kylie recently moved to Portland and is excited to be performing for the first time with the Beaverton Civic Theatre! In the past, she’s been a part of productions such as Mulan Jr., Almost, Maine,  The 25 Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, the Suessification of Romeo and Juliet; to name a few! She’s been acting for around 10 years, and would like to thank her parents for fueling her passion for that long.

Melissa Riley - Co-Director
Melissa moved to Beaverton from Los Angeles to work as the First Assistant Director on the Academy Award nominated animated feature film, Coraline.  She founded BCT in 2009 and continues to oversee productions, maintaining an inclusive environment that values the contributions from all involved.  An assistant director for feature films and television, BCT started when Melissa had time between projects to direct a play at the former Kingstad Center.  Enthusiastically the community supported her production and one play became an entire first season of the Beaverton Civic Theatre.  Melissa received the Beaverton Art Commission’s Art Leadership Award and was described as “a tremendous asset and visionary for the artistic community of Beaverton.”

Sam Roberts - Co-Director
This is Sam's second production after performing in last season's Death By Design. He was born and raised in the Carolinas.  He holds a BFA in theater from Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts. He is currently a Talent Agent with the Portland based agency In Both Ears. Past credits include: Hamlet (The Gross Masons - NYC), Twelfth Night (Shakespeare's Globe - London), Eurydice (Rutgers University).
