Amanda Clark as Corie Bratter Amanda is a BCT veteran and proud board member, is very excited for the chance to play a “bucket list role” with this amazing cast! Favorite roles include Little Women (Jo March), Boeing, Boeing (Berthe), A Philadelphia Story (Liz Imbrie) and The Dining Room (Actress 1). Conner Brown as Paul Bratter Born and raised in Beaverton, Conner is very excited to be involved in his first show at BCT. In the fall, he will be resuming his third year of college at the University of Idaho working towards a BFA in Theatre. Favorite past roles include The Boys Next Door(Norman), Avenue Q (Brian), and Shrek the Musical(Lord Farquaad). Thanks to Hayden, Jack, Hayden, Syd, Steve, Rob, Traci, and all of his wonderful friends and family.
Susan Giberson as Mrs. Banks Susan was recently seen at BCT in The Dining Room, and directed last season’s Around the World in 80 Days. She has a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Oregon and spent her youth pursuing acting as a vocation. Susan is a psychotherapist in private practice and enjoys spending time with her daughters. She met her husband, Jeff, 30 years ago in a play and is thrilled to share the stage with him again.
Jeff Giberson as Victor Velasco Jeff is thrilled to be in his second BCT production, after playing Detective Fix in last season’s Around the World in 80 Days. He is particularly excited to be on stage with his wife, Susan … something they haven’t gotten to do for many years. By night, Jeff tries to make use of his B.F.A. in Theater from New York University, and by day he is a middle school assistant principal.
Dwayne Thurnau as Telephone Repair Man Dwayne recently moved to Beaverton from Arizona and is making his acting debut in this production. He has always had a love for the theatre and decided to take a chance to be part of it! He wants to thank Doreen and Beaverton Civic Theatre for seeing the potential in him. He also wants to thank Michael and Celia for their support and encouragement.
Mark Milner as Delivery Man Mark is excited to be acting for BCT! In the Midwest, he became active in theater watching his kids perform. His part in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever led him to small roles in the national 48 Hour Film Projects in Iowa and Portland. In Portland, roles in Dearly Departed for Twilight Theater and Continuing Education at HART Theater provided wonderful opportunities to improve his acting. Thanks to his wife, Chris, and family for their support.
Doreen Lundberg (Director) Doreen has been directing and acting around the Portland metropolitan area since 2004; at The Slocum House Theatre (Vancouver, WA), New Blue Parrot Theatre (Camus, WA) and of course, BCT. Recent plays directed include The Dining Room - the runner up at the 2015 AACT One Act Play Regional Competition - The Philadelphia Story, and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Doreen loves tennis and is planning to attend the Australian Open in 2018.
